Fly Little Buggy, Fly

Instead of a quote today, I’m giving you a poem that my brother wrote one night, eons ago, when we were both in a wierd mood. We wrote a whole page of stupidness, but this one was one of my favorites. I might be the only one that finds this funny, but I thought I needed something funny this time around, instead of inspirational!

“Little buggy on the floor,

You’re not alive anymore.

Go up to heaven where you’ll soar,

With little buggies that are no more”

I told you it was pretty dorky, but I love my brother, and I love his dumb sense of humour :)

Early morning family session

This family must be very organized and effecient, because they made it to my studio by 10:00 a.m. saturday morning, and they had to make a 45 minute drive through the valley!  I don’t think I could get my family out for a photo session that early on a saturday, plus have them and myself looking half decent. The girls are regulars here, and they were super cute in their grey knit dresses and awesome black boots!

I’m doing this couple’s wedding next fall, so they popped in last week to get an engagement session done. Even though it’s getting a bit chilly out these days, we still did a couple outside shots. Hope you guys had a great weekend!

Heritage

Last weekend I got to see a lot of familiar faces at a big family reunion just outside of Grenfell. I’ve done a number of the grandchildren’s grad pictures over the years and many family sessions as well.

This amazing couple is celebrating their 60th anniversary!! Congratulations. :)  They’ve raised a lot of great people, and we were blessed with some unusually beautiful weather for the first weekend of November. I hope you all had a wonderful evening together with family & friends.

Some designs….

Any album orders submitted now, wedding or otherwise, will not be guaranteed for Christmas delivery. I’ll do my best to get them done if submitted in the next week or two, but no promises!
