On Saturday afternoon, I was itching to get out of the house. Between the frigid temps, and my kid getting chicken pox, we’ve been a little cooped up. I have been wanting to get out and take some new winter shots, but it just never seems to happen. I had to return a movie, so I snuck out for a couple extra minutes and tried to explore the town. I was too much of a baby to get out of the truck, so almost all of these were shot through the window.
I also wanted to try some different processing on these, so they didn’t look like boring winter shots. The sundogs were out, and I LOVE how it turned out with our tourist booth and the drifting snow. I’ve got a few more to share, but I’ll post those in a few days. I don’t have any people sessions until friday, as I’m trying to get inventory done this week. I’ll have some grads to post after the weekend, so I’m excited to get back shooting after taking a few weeks partially off over holidays.

A big high five to anyone who can figure out what this shot is. Maybe it’s obvious, but my 7 year old couldn’t guess what it was. My husband knew right away, but I still thought it was an interesting image.

Its a reflection off a hood of a car right?
ding ding ding! Yah, you’re right Susan. You win
Sorry though, there’s no prize. Just a cyber high five! Maybe it wasn’t as tricky as I thought. I was taking a picture of the row of trees, and saw the reflection in the hood. Good thing Brent keeps his truck so sparkly clean!
I’m guessing it was a shot from your truck hood???? Am I right??? It is a very interesting shot that’s for sure!
Ya, I was guessing the reflection off the hood of that spanky truck of yours, lol. I think we all deserve more than a high five for that one
geez. You all are just too smart. I really thought that it might be trickier to guess, but maybe I’m slow! I’ll buy a coffee for anyone who comes to my house. So Sharon, I guess you win, cause Cora and Susan are too far away for coffee
