Yes, it was another very cold day for shooting, but I’m getting so tired of having all my posts start off by me saying how cold it is. So, I’ve titled this post “Bright, bright, sunshiny day” as an ode to Johnny Nash (for the 95% of you out there who don’t know who I’m talking about, he’s the guy who wrote the song “I can see clearly now” - I can see clearly now, the rain is gone. I can see all obstacles in my way. Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind. It’s gonna be a bright, bright, bright sunshiny day. Click on his name and you’ll get a pop up of a YouTube video. Better yet, minimize it and let it play while you browse the blog. I guarantee you, you’ll be in a great mood after listening to this song!)
It’s one of my all-time favorite songs, and the skies were a brilliant blue the day we shot these. So we’ll celebrate that, instead of that fact that we were FREEZING!!!!
O.k. On with other things. I’ve known this family since before they even were a family. I worked with the mom back in my Credit Union days, waaaaay back in history. Our lives have grown from being engaged, to married, to having kids. They’ve got two adorable little girls, and it was fun photographing them, no matter the weather.
