I was a little worried at noon on tuesday when I was out to lunch with a photographer friend, and the rain came pouring down and the thunder and lightning were in full swing! I had this grad student coming out after supper for her formals, and I really really really didn’t want to get stuck doing them all inside! Luckily the skies cleared, and we had a gorgeous night with spectacular light. Hooray. 
The shot above could possibly be one of my favorite grad formal images ever! I just love the light hitting the trains and her hair.

Wow! Can you believe that just a few hours earlier we were talking in the car and got scared to death with that big clap of thunder, lol. These are beautiful as always. Love Love Love all of the outdoor ones and her dress is so pretty.
