Another grad, another car

Yet another Melville grad stopped in for her casual session last week. You girls have all been so awesome! Thanks for coming to me. I love that a few of you have brought special family cars for your pictures. It was neat watching the dad’s of these girls when we used the cars for pictures. The dads obviously love their daughters, and their cars are their other babies.  Put the two together and you’ve got some sweet keepsake images.

The skies threatened rain while we were shooting, and it did spit a little, but not enough to stop us. Losing the family dog for  a few minutes didn’t stop us either!  Thanks for all coming down for the session. And thanks for squeezing me in the Camero!

Melville comes to Grenfell

A few more Melville girls popped in on saturday afternoon, and we had a really good time. We found some beautiful cherry trees in town and stopped by one of my favorite houses, the Gallinger’s. They are the best people, and when I unexpectedly knocked on their door saturday afternoon, they were so welcoming in letting me use their yard for a few shots.  I’ve been very lucky in this town that alot of people have granted me the use of their houses, yards, vehicles, etc.  So this is my little thank you out to all of you who have let me invade your property in the last few months with my grad students!!

Back to the girls. Thanks so much for coming down. I enjoyed meeting you and your families, and best of luck with your grad celebrations! :)

Westview grad

Tonight I headed out on another on-location grad shoot, this time near Melville. This family and grad were the sweetest! They were so fun to hang out with, and had a gorgeous yard on top of it off. I even got to stay for pizza and coke afterwards, so that was awesome.  Thanks so much for having me out to your place. I had a great time with all of you.

Blossoms

I have been waiting for months to do a session with cherry blossoms!! Finally, the day arrived when I had a beautiful grad student, and one tree in town that had blossoms. Her colors were so incredible with the pink flowers, and she was stunning. Does anyone else see the Penelope Cruz resemblance, or is it just me?? I just love her simple updo, and she opted for no necklace, which I thought was a great choice. The tiara was the perfect amount of bling.  Thanks for taking the time to come out for your session!  Enjoy.

Oops!

I totally missed Tyler last night when I posted the Grenfell grads!! So Ty, you get your very own post.  Well, you and your hot girlfriend and hot car.

Grenfell Grad

Well, I have to apologize to you guys for taking a few days to get these up to post. There were alot of you all in one day! With over 1000 files to sift through and edit, it took me a while to get stuff ready for the blog!

I remember back when this class was in grade 6, and I was still doing school photography. I felt so sorry for their teacher, because with only three girls in the class at the time, this was one crazy bunch to deal with! I’ve photographed this crew so much over the years. Family pictures, hockey pictures, older siblings grads, and almost all of them for casuals. It’s been cool seeing you guys grow up. For some reason, you’re a class that has really stood out to me as one that I can picture you all as young kids, and have watched you mature, somewhat. ;)

Best of luck in the future everyone. Hopefully I’ll be seeing you all again in a few years when you get married!!

New life

I’m kind of posting out of order, since I had the Grenfell Grad class here on the weekend, but I wanted to put these baby pictures up first, since I haven’t had a newborn in the studio for awhile.  This little girl was 8 days old yesterday, and she was so good. She only cried when we let her get cold, but aside from that, she was a very happy little newborn.  Thanks for coming in guys. It was great meeting you. :)
