What do you want to be remembered for?

I don't have to be super successful, financially. I just want to be remembered for being a good person. I try to be a good person. I cuss alot though.

Do you know why your parents gave you the name they did?

My parent's didn't name me. My brother did. He was 15. He picked my name, and my middle name is from my Aunt, who passed away around that time.

Given $1000, what would you spend it on?

Tattoos. I'm going to have to take out a loan to finish my arm.

What is one regret you have?

Getting crappy tattoos in the beginning. Well, no... I do regret it and I don't. It's like a map of my life, but they're ugly now and I'd like to get them fixed. My first tattoo was on my 15th birthday. The genre/technique has gotten so much better. A lot of the old stuff looks like someone just did it with a sharp crayon.

What is the oldest thing you own?

I don't own it anymore. I gave it to Shannara (her daughter). It's a silver peacock ring that my mom got from the Eaton's catalogue when she was 5. Shannara has it now, so it's the oldest thing I used to own.  It was from 1938. Oh... wait. I have a bible from my grandfather from the 1800s. It's leatherbound and huge. I'm scared to open it because the pages are so brittle. And it smells weird.

What scar do you have that tells the best story?

I don't really have any scars. I've never had surgery. The only one I have is inside of my lip. I had some kind of growth in there. The doctor burnt it off, and it came back.  They froze it, it came back. I remember, I was only about 8 I think, and I went back and he was going to cut it off. The doctor in Indian Head was an old army surgeon. He was totally all shakey hands, but then as soon as he got in to do something, he was just steady and perfect. Still, perfect technique. But I was a little kid, and I was in the ER and he had froze it already. I was waiting for the freezing to kick in, and there was a nurse standing behind him, running the cast cutter, and I thought that's what they were going to cut it off with, so I fainted. They put the disolving stitches in, and I was playing baseball and talking, and I accidentally swallowed a stitch. It was awful.

If you could live for a day as anyone else, famous or not, who would it be?

Dead or alive? Tesla! I just want in his head for five minutes. I think I'd be scared. But I find him kind of fascinating. Ya, I'd pick Nikola Tesla. He had a lot of theories about energy and that kind of stuff. That's where my fascination with him comes from. And he's uber smart.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I actually wanted to be a hairdresser. But I promised my grandpa that I would be a nurse, when he was dying. I was 11 when he passed away, and I promised him that. Then I kind of forgot. I quit high school when I was 15, and did all my other things, and then I remembered I had promised him that, and I kept my promise. So now I can quit nursing. I fulfilled my promise.

Are you a leader or a follower?

Ummm.. 6 of one, half dozen of the other. I would say kind of follower, but I also march to the beat of my own drum too. You wouldn't know it, but I'm really linear. I have to have a point A to point B kind of thing. Especially in my job. I need a routine. And you wouldn't think that, because everything else with me is kind of chaotic. But ya, traditional follower. In other ways, I kind of do my own thing and don't care what anyone says.

How many different jobs/careers have you had?

Whoa.... lots! Well, I started out as a high school drop out. Then I tried to be one of the cool kids, and became a professional musician for awhile. That didn't pan out well, because I needed to eat. So I went to school and became an addictions counselor. But I was too young for that job. I was 20, and that's not a good place to put a 20 year old. So I went back to adult upgrading. I became an aid...no... wait - it's kind of hard to remember the timeline, because it's all wishy washy and all over the place. And I'm sleep deprived right now. In the 90s I left and went to the states, and then I came back and married Shawn. I took the special care aid course in '96. Graduated high school in '98. We moved up north and I took asthetics, and in 2003 I started doing reiki. I was ordained in 2008. Then I started the LPN course. 2015 I graduated from HMI (Hypnosis Motivation Institute). Now I'm 7 hours away from writing CHT behind my name (certified hypnosis therapist)
